    You can turn off MD5 hash and CRC32 checksum generation: switch to the Option tab -> Miscellaneous.

    In the Options -> Zones Configuration uncheck: Services, Drivers, Protocols, HOSTS. In the Options -> New Item Actions set Accept for Loaded Modules and Startup Modules.

     How does Browser Sentinel determine whether the item is system or not?

    Browser Sentinel uses a built-in database of the most frequently used system items. Under Windows 2000, XP and .NET Server, the files protected by Windows are also considered system.

     How does Browser Sentinel track changes in the critical zones?

    Browser Sentinel configures Windows to notify it when a change occurs in a zone. Periodic change tracking is performed for the loaded modules and the running programs zones. Loaded modules information is updated every three minutes. The running programs list is updated every 10 seconds (if the corresponding option is enabled). Browser Sentinel will update data for all the zones if no changes is detected during an hour.

     How can I cope with two programs that monitor each other to prevent their termination?

    Select the first program and click Delete, answer Yes to schedule the deletion for Windows startup. Do the same for the second program, then reboot Windows.
